Not on dead.dance. hostaband is the open side-door to the same booking database — every act is welcome here, and nothing about anyone's other communities shows up. Hosts of all kinds book here: venues, wineries, breweries, festivals, and private parties (no venue required). The deal is host-to-act; we just set the table. Payments and contracts run through the cleared system once it's live.

We never charge to create an account. A business gets 3 free bookings, then a subscription. Homes book free, always. (You still pay the act their fee.)

Booking & cancellation policy

Agreed by all three parties — host, act, and hostaband.

Musicians get paid. The price you see is the act's money (minus a small, disclosed platform fee). Payouts run through secure checkout once the system is live; a booking is held & confirmed the moment you tap.

If the host cancels: 14+ days out → deposit refundable minus a small admin fee · 7–13 days → ~50% of the fee · under 7 days / no-show → full fee. The act keeps what's owed.

If the act cancels: 14+ days → full refund of any deposit, we help you rebook · under 14 days / no-show → full refund + priority rebooking, and it counts against the act.

Force majeure (weather, illness, closures): no penalty either way — reschedule in good faith or refund.

Home = free to book. Business = 3 free, then a subscription. Either way, the act's fee & deposit terms apply.
